ENGRAVED REMINGTON MODEL 1875 SINGLE ACTION REVOLVER. Cal. 44 WCF (44-40). SN 14333. After-market engraved and silver-plated with very nice, lightly scrimshawed 2-pc ivory grips. It has 7-1/2” bbl, pinched blade front sight and a Lanyard stud in the butt. The engraving is very well executed with about 50% coverage Arabesque patterns with punch dot background. CONDITION: Very fine. Appears to be unfired since replating. Retains virtually all of its fine custom finish. Grips are fine with a fine mellow patina and a few age lines. Bore is strong, dark in the grooves with light to moderate pitting. Mechanics are fine. 4-52181 JR200 (1,500-2,500)
