*SPRINGFIELD MODEL 1903 MARK I MILITARY RIFLE. Cal. 30-06. SN 1177454. Standard Mark I with 24” bbl dated “1-20” with standard ladder rear sight and the Mark I slot in side of receiver. It has a Remington bolt. Mounted in standard straight stock with grasping grooves & smooth steel buttplate with trap. It has, what appears to be, a “SA” cartouche on left wrist and “GLORIA” crudely carved on left side of butt. CONDITION: Fine. Metal retains a dark greenish parkerized finish showing very little wear. Front sight blade is broken. Wood is fine & sound with a smooth, dark, oil stained finish. Mechanics are stiff from Cosmoline, but appear to be fine. Bright shiny bore. 4-59023 JR666 (500-800)
