OUTSTANDING CARVED FIGURAL TALL CLOCK BY NEW ENGLAND CLOCK COMPANY. Dial signed “New England Clock, Farmington, CT. USA Made in Germany”. Tall clock has three brass weights and large pendulum with chiming movement. Case has large platform base with four heavily carved feet and central crest. Platform supports a 53” standing woman with sheer cloth and also a 23” putti with bird on finger. Case with window frame and large crest having two opposing 15” putti with flower Garland. Other elaborate carving completes this magnificent clock. SIZE: 92” h x 57” w x 30” d. CONDITION: Generally very good with a crack in wood above dial. 9-71011 (6,000-10,000)
