ALLEN & THURBER DOUBLE BARREL PERCUSSION SHOTGUN.

ALLEN & THURBER DOUBLE BARREL PERCUSSION SHOTGUN. NSN. 10 ga. 31-3/4” ribbed bbls. Marked “ALLEN & THURBER / WORCESTER” on top of the bbl rib. The 5” oval iron frame is engraved but has no markings. It is attached to the bbls by a screw in the bottom which requires a special wrench for removal. The hammers, triggerguard, tailpipe and buttplate have floral engraving. The hickory ramrod has a brass tip with a reversible worm on the opposite end. The semi-deluxe walnut stock has a small area of checkering behind the frame. The forearm is plain. CONDITION: Good. Brown patina overall, moderate pitting at the breech. Patina has been enhanced. Wood was refinished after the repair on the right side of the butt. Mechanically fine. 4-59434 FS642 (800-1,200)
