GERMAN LITHOPANE REGIMENTAL STEIN. The stein marked on the underside with a crown, “KR” and “Germany” on the underside. The pewter lid ornamented with a full-length naval figure holding a flag, and in relief “Reserve Hat RUH”. The thumb rest a typical spread-wing eagle. The body of the stein depicting a late 19th century steam battle ship, and in the forefront a naval figure holding Bismark’s flag. Marked on the upper rim of the stein, inscribed “GRINN PRUNG N AN MENIE DIENSTZEIT”. At the bottom, marked “1887 Peter Wilkens, 1890”. When held to the light, the bottom of the stein depicts a nude woman. 3-30443 (400-700)
