Oil on academy board interior scene shows a monkey with striped gold and red robe seated in an antique wood and upholstered chair with arms resting on desk. A hand holds up his chin as his eyes fixate on a flying bug. Signed lower right “WH Beard”. Pencil titled on board label and retaining an Alexander Gallery, New York label with artist and title.
