JEAN RENE GAUGUIN (Danish, 1881-1861) BING AND GRUNDHAL ENAMELED POTTERY FIGURAL GROUP, CIRCA 1935. Modeled as a nude female figure astride a rearing bull above a cluster of stylized roses, glazed in white and over-glazed in mauve, yellow, green, red and black. Signed along lower base rim edge in black “B&G Copenhagen”, “J R Gauguin.” “F 15/50” , on the underside of the base is found the incised “B&G” mark with castle emblem, together with a stamped company mark above “F 15/50”.
