*VERY RARE COLT MODEL 1900 SIGHT SAFETY SEMI-AUTO PISTOL. Cal. 38 ACP. SN 403. Blued finish with 6″ bbl, thin blade front sight and articulated rear sight with serrated top and back edge that, when depressed, serves as a firing pin block safety. It has smooth walnut grip panels and a full nickel magazine with patent date on the base. It is made without thumb safety or side lock. CONDITION: Very fine. All original and unaltered, retaining 70-75% original blue finish, thinning on the sides of the slide with thin front & back straps. Blue is strong and bright in the sheltered areas. Hammer and sight safety are mostly silvered case colors with brilliant colors at the base of the hammer. Grips are sound with a fine oil finish.
