OUTSTANDING AND RARE LYRE FORM FRENCH MANTLE CLOCK SIGNED FESTEAU, AARIA. Round dial having a white porcelain background with black Roman Numeral numbers with decorative gold fluer di lis and flower swags. Outside border having calendar day numbers which are indicated by a black hand. Brass movement having two key holes and bell strike. Pendulum in a double rocker set with round pendulum and outside circle of clear jewels. As the pendulum moves, so does the outside jewel ring. Brass works unmarked but numbered “126”. Round clock is set in the center of an ormolu mounted blue enameled lyre with eagle head top and floral swags. Base in blue porcelain mounted with ormolu swags and decorative pieces resting on four round pointed feet. Key and pendulum present. SIZE: 22-1/2” h x 11” w.
