*byf 44 P38 MILITARY PISTOL. Cal 9mm. SN 4034c. Standard issue Mauser P38 with 5” bbl and mottled brown composition grips. Accompanied by an original black flap holster with mag pouch, marked “bla1944” on the back. It is marked on the flap with an impressed silver Luftawffe eagle and swastika. It also has the hand scratched name “R. E. L. Williams” on the back. It has an original WaA 135 magazine and a WaA 359 spare magazine. CONDITION: Probably an old police refinish, all matching, appears unfired since refinish and retains virtually all its original dark finish. Spare magazine shows moderate wear.
