MILTON JAMES BURNS (American, 1853-1933) “BOY FISHING”. Small oil on canvas shows boy fishing seated in a two-mast small sailboat. Boat is moored in inlet with rocky shoreline behind. Reflections of boat and boy in foreground. Nice gilt replacement frame with small artist’s plaque. Unsigned work has artist name and title on back of replacement stretcher. Also indications that it was exhibited at the Mystic Seaport Museum Retrospective 1984. SIZE: 6” x 10”. CONDITION: Relined, very good. 9-94283 (6,000-8,000)
