ATTRIBUTED TO MIGUEL VILLA BASSOLS (Spanish, 1901-1988) VILLAGE IN THE WOODS. Heavy oil on canvas scene shows several small buildings amongst large trees. Heavy impasto on a thick coarse canvas. Moonlight appears to glisten off the side of two buildings. Signed lower right “Villa”. Housed in a reeded modern gilt frame. SIZE: 31” x 39”. CONDITION: Generally very good. 9-28930 (600-800)
