MERWIN & HULBERT SINGLE ACTION REVOLVER. Cal. appears to be 44 M&H. SN unknown. 3rd or 4th model, original nickel finish with bbl reduced to 4 3/16”, replacement front sight, top strap with conventionally fluted cylinder and square butt with lanyard loop and homemade bone grips. CONDITION: As noted, fair. Retains traces of original finish with balance a smooth and worn patina with scattered moderate pitting. Bbl latch screw is changed and the other screws are battered. Firing pin is replaced, mechanics are loose with worn dark bore. 4-51272 JR15 (300-500)
