TWO OUTSTANDING SILVER LADLES WITH CAST SEMI-NUDE STANDING MAIDEN HANDLES. 1) Long punch ladle with tapered handle terminating in a 4” cast handle in the form of a standing semi-nude woman holding grapevine which twists around her body. Boat shaped bowl having a long pouring spout and the back decorated with a woman’s head profile. Affixed to handle at three points with leaf decoration. Bowl having a gold wash interior. Unmarked but believed to be sterling. SIZE: 15” l. WEIGHT: 8 tr. oz. 2) Long handled ladle/serving spoon having a pierced bowl with grape clusters and leaf vine decoration. Rim having a cutout fancy decoration. Handle identical to the pervious ladle. Unmarked but believed to be sterling. SIZE: 11-1/2” l. WEIGHT: 6 tr. oz. No monogram.
