LARGE THREE PART SEVRES COVERED URN. The ormolu mounted vase having cast paw feet, decorative scroll mounts on base and handles. The central tapered body totally hand painted in a landscape scene with a figure of a man and woman next to flower garden. The woman holds a basket of flowers and a rose in one hand. The backside, with a sunset water landscape, signed “Poitring”. The top and base in deep blue background with gold decoration. The separate lid has a basket of flame finial. SIZE: 42” h, 12” across the handles. CONDITION: Crazed surface, cover has been repaired in several spots. Otherwise, very good. 9-71269 (5,000-10,000)
