THREE ORIENTAL RUGS. 20th century. The first, a HAMADAN rug, the red field and ivory polled medallion within a polychrome floral border. The second, an AFGHANISTAN rug of Caucasion design, with two medallions on a black field surrounded by a black main border with dense polychrome array of flowers. The third, a MOSUL rug, the blue field with “Herati” design within a red main border with turtle devices. SIZE: The first and second, each 5 ft 7 in x 3 ft 7 in. The third, 6 ft 3 in x 3 ft 7 in. CONDITION: The first, holes, damage to edge and ends. The second, good condition. The third, with even wear, slight edge damage, with a small hole, and ends reasonably intact. 9-921579-91691 (300-500)
