VICTORIAN GOTHIC REVIVAL WALNUT CARVED CHAIR. Solid seat is hinged which lifts to reveal compartment with stenciled maker’s name “Buckley & Bancroft, Boston”. Pierced back crest has ornate scroll heavy carving. Turned legs with eight beveled sides. Original label affixed to bottom of chair. SIZE: 44” h x seat h 16”. CONDITION: Very good. Two screws needed on hinge. 9-97721 (150-300)
