SWISS MARBLE CLOCK. Fine hand painted clock face features a Victorian child in blue dress with a sheep with flowers, grass and a column in the background signed “Rivier”. All is trimmed with Roman numerals and is set against a blue background. Entire face is set in brass mount with a goat on either side. Clock face is signed “Swiss” and the reverse is marked “Swiss” above the turn-key, “Chevron” and “8 Jours” below the turn-key as well as “16245” and “1764”. Clock is mounted on a piece of silver and white marble with four bronze feet. SIZE: Overall height is 7”. Base is 6-3/4” w. CONDITION: There are two cracks on the face of the clock and is loose on marble base. 5-63034 (700-900)
