TWO ORIENTAL RUGS. Circa 1900. The first, Tekke Ensi, red field with torch forms surrounded by a main border with a latticework and “elem” below. The second, a Tekke scatter rug, the field with red and blue bordered rectangles with leaf elems at each end. SIZE: First:4 ft 8 in x 4 ft. Second: 3 ft 9 in x 3 ft 1 in. CONDITION: The first, minor end loss, holes, stains, good pile. The second, with end loss, small holes and damage, good pile. 9-91686 (300-600)
