WEBB CARVED AND APPLIED VASE. Outstanding Webb vase has cameo carved clear glass flowers surrounding the vase against an acid carved background. The vase is further decorated with applied oval cabochons with colored glass inclusions and wheel carved decorations. The vase is further decorated with random padded light blue wheel carved flowers. Vase is unsigned. Similar examples of this technique can be found in the book English Cameo Glass by Ray and Lee Grover, page 132, photo C115 as well as page 272, photo C233. SIZE: 7″ t.
