NEW ENGLAND QUEEN ANNE CHERRY DROP-LEAF TABLE, PROBABLY CONNECTICUT. Second half 18th century. The rectangular top with hinged demilune leaves projecting above the conforming frieze raised on blocked, ring-turned, swelled, cylindrical legs terminating in flattened pad feet. SIZE: 27-1/2″ h. x 45″ l. x 17″ w. closed/46″ w. open. CONDITION: Completely restored and repolished, the older painted surfaces removed, the gates restored, the lower 4″ board of each leaf professionally restored with old matching wood, the feet professionally pieced. The table has nice proportions and presents well. 9-92817 (1,500-2,500)
