EDWARD CUCUEL (American, 1879-1951) STILL LIFE WITH TEACUPS AND ROUND TRAY. Oil on wood board still life shows round tray having two decorated handled teacups and one small glass flower vase. Signed lower right “Cucuel”. Housed in a gilt carved wood frame with inset smaller window having similar outline. PROVENANCE: It is believed that this painting was in the private collection of Dassler family of Stutgart, Garmany who were the founders of Adidas Shoe Company. SIZE: 8-1/4” x 14-1/2”. CONDITION: One small touch up to rim of tray, otherwise very good. 9-94436 (8,000-10,000)
