H.A. DRISCOLE (American, 19th/20th Century) SMALL MOUTH BASS. Outstanding oil on canvas portrait of a small mouth bass leaping from the water with a red hackled fly in its mouth. One of a number of game fish painting that this artist has done. Signed lower right “H A Driscole. Housed in its original scroll and leaf gesso decorated gilt frame. SIZE: 20” x 14”. CONDITION: As found, Estate condition. Extremely dirty, both canvas and frame. We believe the painting will clean up nicely. 9-26248 (1,500-2,500)
