RARE AND UNUSUAL TILT-TOP FOLDING TRESTLE TABLE, POSSIBLY PENNSYLVANIA. Early 19th century. The oval plank top joined to and swiveling on the rectangular frame with V-shaped gate on a stepped shoe-foot base. SIZE: 28-1/2″ h. x 58″ l. x 44″ w. CONDITION: This unusual table retains old scrubbed surfaces, showing minor and acceptable seam shrinkage at mortised joints. The support and gate mechanisms are intact and functioning. The shoe-foot trestle base intact with no visible damage or restoration. In nice condition overall. 9-91663 (2,000-3,000)
