The back has an attached sheet of paper from Hammer Galleries, New York with title and the following: “From the JMW Turner Collection of the late John Anderson, Jr. Author of The Unknown Turner Founder of the Anderson Galleries Mr. James R. Gilliam Jr.”. PROVENANCE: Found in a northern Connecticut collection. SIGHT SIZE: 4-1/4” x 8-3/4”. CONDITION: Very good. 9-26704 (4000-6000)
