INTERESTING LACQUERWARE POLE SCREEN. Lacquerware papier-mâché scene, circa 1850, is decorated with a Venice scene. Painted and inlaid with mother of pearl. Brass pole having a base of carved walnut with scroll and leaf decoration. SIZE: 53-1/2” h; Screen is 14” x 18”. CONDITION: Very good. Brass pole most likely a replacement. 9-99572 (600-1,000)
