RARE & EXQUISITE TIFFANY STERLING ENAMEL DECORATED TEAPOT. This very special piece of sterling and enamel art produced by Tiffany may have been an exhibition piece. It features a diminutive faceted sided teapot with lid, having both repousse and enamel decoration. The lid mounted in the center with a beautiful polychrome detailed butterfly. The handle ornamented with relief insects and the sides of the teapot with relief Wisteria design enameled in lovely shades of variegated lavender and green. The underside of the piece marked “Tiffany & Co 925/1000”. SIZE: 5-1/4″ h. CONDITION: Overall generally excellent, a couple of very minor enamel losses in the Wisteria decoration, otherwise excellent. 5-65176 (25,000-50,000)
