E. ROUSSEAU SANG DE BOEUF ELEPHANT VASE. Extremely rare sang de boeuf vase was an exhibition piece at L’Art Verrier: a l’aube de XX siecle. The wonderful elephant form vase has a cylindrical neck extending from the back of the elephant impressed with drapery design. Vase is signed on the underside with etched “E. Rousseau” and is accompanied by a photocopy of the exhibit catalog cover, title page and photo with description. SIZE: 10-3/4″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-69292 (12,000-15,000)
