SAROUK MAT, TOGETHER WITH A LILLEHAN RUNNER, WEST PERSIA. Circa 1920. The first with polychrome palmettes and fernery on a plum field within a dark blue dense floral border. The second with polychrome palmettes and floral sprays overall on a rose-pink field within a border of scrolling vinery. SIZE: The first 4’1″ x 2’2″. The runner 14’11” x 2’4-1/2″. PROVENANCE: From a fine Beacon Hill and Thomaston estate. CONDITION: Both with very good full pile overall. The runner has been cut at one end. Both in need of cleaning. 9-93642-1 (300-500)
