FINE PENNSYLVANIA CHIPPENDALE FOUR DOOR STEPBACK WALNUT CUPBOARD. In two parts. The cove molded cornice above the upper case fitted with a pair of raised panel cupboard doors, the stiles with notched and canted edges, stepped back and fitted to the lower case of two aligned short drawers with molded edges above a pair of raised panel cupboard doors, stiles with conforming canted edges. Molded base raised on boldly turned ogee bracket feet with shaped returns. First quarter of the 19th Century. SIZE: 84-1/2” h x 55-1/2” w x 21” d. CONDITION: Very nice original condition, surfaces with old patina, somewhat dry with no visible restoration of any form. Hardware with old replacements. 9-91674 (4,000-6,000)
