JERVIS MCENTEE (American, 1828-1891) “MINK HOLLOW BROOK”. Oil on board landscape scene shows a small brook with slow moving pool surrounded by rocks and trees. A glimpse of blue sky can be seen at the edge of a hill. Signed lower left. Also titled on reverse and written with artist name, date (July 1, 1885) and title. Housed in a gilt wood frame.
