HATTIE KLAPP BRUNNER (American 1889-1982) READY FOR THE AUCTION. Folk art watercolor and gouache on paper Pennsylvania scene shows a house and barn set against a hillside with fields and fence. Several people are gathered, and the house’s contents can be seen on the lawn and in the barn. Signed lower left in grass and comes with a letter signed by Hattie K. Brunner indicating that it was one of her first paintings done in the year 1959 and depicting Joe Kindig in the scene. Also a photograph of Hattie Brunner seated on an antique sofa.
