WALDO PEIRCE (American, 1884-1970) RUBY’S SIESTA. Unframed large oil on canvas shows a nude woman resting atop a bed with side table having a vase of Black Eyes Susans. Signed bottom left “W Peirce 45”. Also inscribed “Merry Xmas Ruth 48”. Back of canvas has title and several dates with signatures. SIZE: 31” x 43”. PROVENANCE: From a fine Islesboro, Maine home.
