WILLIAM MASON BROWN (American, 1828-1898) BASKETS OF STRAWBERRIES. Fine oil on canvas scene shows three slatted baskets of strawberries. Two have fallen over and the contents spilled onto a flower and leaf strewn ground. Signed lower left “WMB”. Housed in a fine gesso decorated gilt period frame. SIZE: 13-1/2” x 18”. CONDITION: Relined, there is some inpainting but it is very hard to discern due to masking varnish. Very good. 9-27610 (10,000-20,000)
