FRENCH MARBLE AND ORMOLU STAND. The square marble top fitted on a frieze having corner blocks decorated with stylize Ormolu rosettes. The top supported by four mounted tapered marble legs ending in a fancy cross stretcher base with center marble fitted shelf. Ball ending Ormolu feet. The marble throughout the piece is a mottled burgundy and white. Empire style, probably early 20th Century. SIZE: 21-1/4” h and 21-1/4” sq. CONDITION: Very good. 9-72183 (1,000-2,000)
