OUTSTANDING FINELY CARVED IVORY LION AND LIONESS CANE. Large ivory handle has a male lion standing on a rock outcropping over a smaller female lion. The front legs are pierce carved with nice detail to heads and fur. 1” sterling collar has cross hatch design and oval unused monogram area. Collar is marked “Sterling” with no maker’s mark. Ebonized wood shaft with a 1” worn ivory ferrule. SIZE: 35-3/4” l. Handle is 5” x 1-3/4”. CONDITION: Very good. 9-28197 (2000-3000)
