VICTORIAN MARBLE TOP PAINT AND STENCIL DECORATED ASH COMMODE. Circa 1860. The white marble top with beveled edge and round corners above the conforming case, fitted with a long drawer and carved central handle, above a pair of cupboard doors, the whole with scrolling stenciled trim and painted fruit decoration, on a molded base with scalloped apron and bracket feet. SIZE: 28-1/2″ h. x 31″ w. x 17-1/2″ d. PROVENANCE: From the Estate of Geraldine Gaba, Scottsdale, AZ. CONDITION: Good overall; marble splash-guard and backboard absent. 9-94869 (250-350)
