DAUM NANCY PADDED & WHEEL CARVED VASE. Truly exceptional Daum vase has wheel-carved cameo leaves against a mottled yellow background which shades to green and then mottled blue at the foot. The wheel-carved leaves are further decorated with padded and wheel-carved blue berries. The flattened vase is finished with two squared handles pulled from the rim and applied to the shoulder. Signed on the side with engraved “Daum Nancy” and Cross of Lorraine. A similar example to this vase is pictured on the cover of the book French Cameo Glass by Berniece & Henry Blount.
