TIFFANY STUDIOS ROMAN FLOOR LAMP. Massive leaded glass shade of heavily mottled green glass illustrates Tiffany Studios transition from simple geometric shades with this having curvilinear glass as well as diamonds, ellipses and larger half ellipses at the border. Shade is finished in gold and supported by a junior gold dore floor base having six sockets, wheel and pierced top cap. The single column shaft sits atop a platform circular pad all on four spade feet. Shade is signed “Tiffany Studios New York”. Base is signed “Tiffany Studios New York 887”. SIZE: Shade is 25″ dia. Lamp is 63″ t. CONDITION: Good with replaced glass segments. Some panels having hairlines and other areas suffering from impact. Shade has had restoration to lead work and gold finish. Base has moderate wear to gold dore finish. Cap has been painted. 5-62270 (30,000-40,000)
