BLACK SLATE FRENCH SHELF CLOCK. An interesting clock having a maker’s brass tag “Mudesse, Narbrier Brevete”. The solid black slate case fitted with a round top dial with beveled hinged bezel, bridge escapement and signed “Charaudeau a Angers” A bottom beveled glass window has two dials, day of the week and day of the month. Pendulum present. SIZE: 16” h x 11” w x 7” d. CONDITION: The bottom dials have some black paint loss, otherwise very good. Unknown working order. 9-72313 (1,200-1,500)
