L. MOUCHOT (FRENCH, 19TH CENTURY) CARDS AND WINE. Oil on canvas interior scene shows two men and a woman at a table playing cards. Two are seated and one is standing. There are three glasses on the table and two bottles of wine in a floor wine cooler. A large marble fireplace and doorway are seen with elaborate wallpaper. Signed lower right “LUG MOUCHOT”. Housed in what appears to be its original deep gesso-decorated gilt frame with artist’s plaque. SIZE: 24″ X 19-3/4″. CONDITION: Very good. 9-97708 (1,000-1,500)
