*RARE SMITH & WESSON PRE-WAR K22 MASTERPIECE SECOND MODEL REVOLVER. Cal. 22LR. Blued finish, 6” bbl, partridge front sight with Call Brilliant Bead and round top frame with adjustable sight that has the patent number. Square butt with diamond checkered, medallion walnut grips. The finish is extra polish blue. This is 1 of only 1,067 produced between January 25, 1940 and March 12, 1942. SN 693025. CONDITION: Extremely fine, retaining 95-96% strong, brilliant blue with the losses due to flaking on the bbl. Hammer and trigger retain most of their bright original case colors. Grips are replacements and show moderate to heavy wear. Brilliant shiny bore, crisp mechanics shows very, very little use. 4-48203 JR272 (Anderson Collection) (1,500-2,500)
