FRENCH SINGLE SHOT POACHERS SHOTGUN. Cal 16 ga. SN 23. Tiny take-down shotgun with 21-5/8” damascus bbl, without forearm, straight grain walnut grip straight stock and checkered butt. The gun is loaded and unloaded by unscrewing the bbl and manually inserting or removing the cartridge. The bbl is then screwed back into the tiny receiver and manually cocked by means of a lever on the lower tang. CONDITION: Fine. Bbl retains 60-70% brown damascus pattern, the receiver iron is a medium gray patina. Stock is sound with a crudely whittled spot on the comb, and a couple of dings, otherwise sound. Strong bright bore with scattered light pitting. 4-50737 JR49 (750-1,250)
