GERTRUDE AUSTIN HALL (American, 20th Century) LOBSTER SHACK. This neat old Victorian painting of a New England harbor scene depicts a “lobster” shack, and a clam digger/lobsterman with a dog. The shack has a wonderful lobster shaped weathervane on it. Signed in lower right “Gertrude Hall”. Housed in a gilt oak frame. SIZE: 16” x 24”. CONDITION: A couple of small punctures along the border of the painting. The painting, which is soiled from age, will probably be extremely attractive once cleaned. 9-99795 (800-1,200)
