Cal. 20ga, 26-1/2″ bbl, hand-filed vent rib with silver single sighting bead, 3″ chambers, IMP.CYL/MOD chokes, ejectors and single selective trigger. Left side of bbl is marked in gold “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY ST. LOUIS MO & MONTREAL P.Q. / MADE IN BELGIUM”, right side also marked in gold “SPECIAL STEEL-20GA-SHELLS 2-3/4″ AND 3″ / PATENTS NO 2203.378-2233861”. Receiver is beautifully engraved and inlaid in two color gold with 2 flushing rooster pheasants on left side, 2 ducks in flight on right side, 2 feeding quail on bottom with remaining inlay on receiver, long tang trigger guard, top lever and forend iron a gold wire with contrasting gold leaves. This fine work is signed on both sides “ABEE”. Mounted with nicely figured fiddleback walnut, side panels with fluted drop points, checkered flat knob pistol grip, simulated 3-pc forend with schnable tip, fully checkered, 3 screws on each side,with diamond shapes and gold wire outline. Bore diameter: top -.622, bottom -.623. Bore restrictions: top -.013, bottom -.007. Wall thickness: top -.039, bottom -.037. Drop at heel:2-1/8″, drop at comb:1-1/2″. Weight:5 lbs. 15oz. LOP 14-1/2″. Accompanied with dark brown Browning luggage case with brown interior. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Appears new since upgrading. Bbl retains virtually all of its custom blue finish with a couple minor handling marks and faint rub mark from forend. Receiver shows all of its fine custom blue and sharp gold inlays. Stock is sound with sharp checkering, a few minor handling marks and retains a fine, hand-rubbed oil finish. Forend is sound with sharp checkering, a couple minor handling marks and retains a fine, hand-rubbed oil finish. Mechanics are crisp with non-automatic safety, strong ejectors and nice shiny bores.
