BROWNING PIGEON GRADE SMALL BORE TWO BARREL SET. SN 1752F7. Cal. 28ga & .410, both 28″ bbls, matted vent rib, white front and silver center sighting bead, SKEET/SKEET chokes, 28ga has 2-3/4″ chamber, .410 has 3″ chamber, all with ejectors and single selective trigger. Set One 28ga left side of bbl is marked “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY ST. LOUIS MO. & MONTREAL P.Q. / MADE IN BELGIUM”. Right side “SPECIAL STEEL – 28 GAUGE – SHELLS 2-3/4″ / PATENTS NO 2203378-2233861”. Set Two .410 marked on left side “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY” and right side “.410 – GAUGE – SHELLS 3″ – MADE IN BELGIUM”. Left side of lower bbl under serial number are stamped “S1” and “S2″. Receiver is engraved in usual Pigeon pattern with full field of foliate arabesque scrolls with 2 pigeons in flight on each side. Shoulder of bbls and top of fences are carved in oak leaf pattern. Mounted with highly figured dark walnut much above standard Pigeon grade, checkered round knob pistol grip, Browning hard rubber buttplate. Negative test for salt w/ silver nitrate. Serial numbers stamped on back of butt stock. Highly figured matching checkered field-style forends. 28 Ga Set : Bore diameter: top -.548, bottom -.546. Bore restrictions: top -.007, bottom -.000. Wall thickness: top -.031, bottom -.022. Drop at heel: 2-5/8″, drop at comb:1-5/8″. Weight: 6lbs. 14oz. LOP 14-7/8”. .410 Set: Bore measurements are N/A with same stock measurements and weighing 7lbs. 2oz. With Browning tan luggage case. CONDITION: Fine+. Bbls retain 98% orig blue with a couple minor nicks & scratches. Receiver is clean and bright. Stock is sound with sharp checkering, a few minor handling marks and retains a fine hand-rubbed oil finish that appears orig. Forends are sound with sharp, crisp checkering, a few minor handling marks with Set One with hairline grain crack near tip of forearm iron. Mechanics are crisp with non-automatic safety, mechanical trigger, strong ejectors and nice shiny bore in all bbls.
