TIFFANY STUDIOS 9TH CENTURY PAPER RACK. Highly detailed paper rack has bands of carved ornaments and deeply cut strap work, this pattern is one of the most elaborate of all Tiffany Studios desk set patterns. 9th Century designs usually have grotesque animals associated with them. Tiffany Studios used creative licensing and used art deco looking animals such as a squirrels and ermine as featured on this letter rack. Further accenting this piece are many green and blue glass jewels. Signed “Tiffany Studios New York 1625″. SIZE: 9-3/4″ x 6″ x 2-1/4”.
