TIFFANY STUDIOS 9TH CENTURY MAGNIFYING GLASS. Rare magnifying glass has bands of carved ornaments and deeply cut strap work, this pattern is one of the most elaborate of all Tiffany Studios desk set patterns. 9th Century patterns usually have grotesque animals associated with them. Tiffany Studios used creative licensing and used art deco looking animals such as the ermine featured on the handle of this piece. Signed “Tiffany Studios New York 1619″. SIZE: 9″ x 4”.
