DAUM NANCY COVERED BOX. Very famous scene depicting one of Aesop’s Fables is enameled in black on the front. The reverse of the two handled box and the lid have a purple and yellow, delicate floral decoration acid-etched and enameled, on an iridescent ground with gilded accents at rim, handles and lid. Signed on the underside “Daum Nancy” with Cross of Lorraine. SIZE: 2-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-69369 (3,000-4,000)
