Cal. 270 Weatherby Mag. 24″ Round barrel has quarter rib w/ filed in dovetail scope bases, and 2 leaf folding express sight. Ramp front has longitudinally dovetailed front bead. Case hardened Hagen dropping block action has roll safety. All metal work has inlaid gold line borders and beautifully executed acanthus scroll w/ silver inlaid vignettes of game by Boucher. “.270 Wea. Mag.” is inlaid in gold on left side of bbl. Action has nicely executed silver inlay of big horn ram on left side and sitting cougar on right. Bottom of action has more well executed scroll and SN “8344” inlaid in gold on grip. Nicely streaked English walnut classically sculpted long pistol grip buttstock measures 14″ over scroll engraved, gold inlaid, line border steel butt plate, w/ sling loop in steel oval on toe line, steel grip cap, classically shaped shadow line cheek piece and side panels to action, as well as, perfectly executed 28 LPI checkering w/ mullered borders. Forend has ebony tip, attached to bbl w/ screw, through engraved escutcheon, w/ wood, panels, and checkering to match buttstock. Leopold Vari-X 3X9 Compact SCOPE has QD mounts w/ inlay and engraving to match rifle. Browning CASE w/ brown interior.
